Rebuilding Day 2019
April 27 @ 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
National Rebuilding Day is the culmination of a year of planning, training, organizing, and mobilizing more than 3,000 community volunteers. It is embraced by community leaders, sponsors and partners as a way to help improve the homes and communities of residents in need. Each year, we select two target areas in Chicago and suburban Cook County. By collaborating with other community revitalization initiatives, we are able to maximize and sustain a positive impact on the local community.
On Saturday, April 27, 2019, homeowners in one Chicago neighborhood and Cook County suburb will benefit from National Rebuilding Day.
Rebuilding Together Metro Chicago serves homeowners who, due to financial or physical limitations, have been unable to maintain their houses. The result of our yearlong effort is a lasting impression and life-changing experience for our volunteers and the people we serve on National Rebuilding Day. After 27 years of the National Rebuilding Day program, more than 1,800 homeowners now live in warmth, safety and comfort due to our efforts.
Cost: $20 which includes t-shirt, lunch, and refreshments throughout the day.
