On Thursday, March 5, Irish Entrepreneurs will meet with Andy Whiting.

Learn about what top business professionals, educators, politicians and athletes leverage to give them the competitive edge and happiness potential. We’ll start the evening with our usual roundtable introductions followed by a speaker who will provide insight and helpful human practices.
Andy Whiting is an inventor, entrepreneur, and business executive who loves to solve complex, real world problems with technology. He is currently the Founder and CEO of Better Trucks, Inc., a Last Mile Delivery Service company. Better Trucks employs over 200 people in the Chicagoland area providing last- and middle-mile services for Amazon Logistics, regional supply chain management for small to medium sized businesses, and technology solutions.
Prior to that, Andy was Vice President of Business Development at Solstice responsible for driving strategic growth through partnerships, geographic expansion, and commercializing intellectual property. Most recently, Mr. Whiting lead Solstice’s growth in the world of Conversational UX and Robotics by partnering with Amazon Alexa, AWS IoT, and Softbank Robotics. Prior to growth via partnerships, he lead expansion in the the New York City market and the commercialization of AppLauncher, a patented continuous integration platform to accelerate mobile development.
Before joining Solstice, he spent 5 years as co-founder and head of product development at Clean Urban Energy, a venture backed startup specializing in energy optimization for large commercial buildings. At CUE, Mr. Whiting leveraged emerging technologies, specifically Amazon Web Services cloud computing platform, to build a first-of-its-kind SaaS platform that solved a sophisticated financial and energy optimization problem for skyscrapers.
Andy began his career at IBM Global Business Services where he developed his technical and client management skills consulting for large fortune 500 clients.
A native of Paducah, Kentucky, Andy now lives in River Forest, Illinois with his wife and children.
