Football Weekend Lodging

South Bend/Mishawaka

Once you’re in South Bend, you might need a place to stay. Let South Bend/Mishawaka help you plan your stay. Act fast though! Available rooms sell quickly.

Rent Like A Champion

Seven years ago, 3 students at the University of Notre Dame were fed up with the lack of affordable hotel rooms for their parents to rent for the big Notre Dame football weekends. South Bend is a smaller city and did not have enough hotel rooms for the 100,000 fans that showed up for home games. The students thus created a website, www.RentLikeAChampion.com for local homeowners near campus to be able to list their homes for rent for the football games and quickly the site grew to list over 120 homes, all in perfect locations right near the ND stadium.

This past year, the website www.RentLikeAChampion.com generated more than $500,000 in revenue for the local homeowners, catering over 300 rentals, a record year! Our website, www.RentLikeAChampion.com, has plenty of great homes still available for rent for this upcoming season, promising to offer an inexpensive, convenient, and in general better weekend experience for our returning alums. Check out their listings today!

Rent Like A Champion Alumni Club Matching Program:  Rent Like A Champion offers all alumni club members a discount code that saves them $25 on a home rental for an ND football game. Each time the code is used, it earns our local club $25 for our general scholarship fund. Rent Like A Champion knows which alumni club to send the check to by matching the renter’s billing zip code with that of the local Alumni Club. This year’s discount code for all alums is Alumni2012.
