On Thursday, February 1, Irish Entrepreneurs will welcome Matt Liotine, a professor at University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and founder of the UIC Next-Gen Laboratory.
Matt will discuss Developing a Laboratory for Innovation Partnerships in Chicago.
The Next-Gen Laboratory at UIC will serve as a knowledge center of programs and research that will emphasize advances in information technology, operations and supply chain management, and business data analytics across numerous industries. Through connections with students, startups, thought leaders, researchers, accelerators and venture firms, enterprises will be privy to new concepts, prototype applications and models to reimagine business. UIC Next-Gen will be a knowledge and resource gateway for the Chicago region, and will also be the U.S. Midwest hub of a global network of academic and industry researchers promoting the exchange of ideas for disruptive innovation. Matthew Liotine, PhD
Matt Liotine is a professor in Information and Decision Sciences in the College of Business Administration at UIC, where he teaches and conducts research in the field of operations and supply chain management. He is the founder of the UIC Next-Gen Laboratory and the Director of UIC’s graduate program in operations and supply chain management. He is also a management consultant who advises enterprises in the areas of strategic planning, operations improvement and technology innovation.
