On Thursday, November 2, Irish Entrepreneurs will welcome Paul Detlefs, President of The Prestwick Group, Ltd.

Paul will present a talk titled, “Get a Grip on Your Business: Are You Running Your Business or is It Running You?”

If you’d like to be in more control of your organization, you’re not alone. As thousands of business leaders have discovered, the key to faster growth, bigger profits, and fewer frustrations is to have a complete “system” of running your business. EOS (the Entrepreneurial Operating System) is a comprehensive business system with real, simple, practical tools. This highly interactive presentation helps participants learn to implement a simple “way of operating” that helps leadership teams clarify, simplify, and achieve their vision.

Leaders looking for a silver bullet or the next “flavor of the month” need not attend. In this value-packed workshop, attendees learn to see their businesses in a whole new light and to achieve better results through strengthening the Six Key Components of every truly great organization. The outcome creates alignment and synchronizes all the pieces of your business to produce the results you want.

Paul Detlefs
President, The Prestwick Group

Paul Detlefs - 11.2.17

Paul Detlefs has spent his entire business career advising small and mid-sized businesses and their owners, working with over 200 companies. He spent his first 24 years at Andersen Consulting/Accenture, where he was Managing Partner of a Middle Markets consulting group. He worked in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, construction, and professional services.

In 2002, he founded The Prestwick Group, a consulting and advisory firm focused on small and mid-sized businesses and their owners. The firm began by providing peer advisory and coaching services, as well as people assessment and development, and added a recruiting process in 2007. In 2010, a colleague handed him the book “Traction”, which describes EOS – the business management system he will speak about at the meeting. He found it to be an amazing synthesis of many of the principles he was teaching his clients and he began using EOS with clients almost immediately. He has worked with the owners and leaders of over 25 companies to help them get more of what they want from their business by using the tools in EOS.
