We all search for our true purpose in life. Matt Knott found his. Even though success was afforded to Matt at PepsiCo, after attending a Lenten retreat he started to reevaluate his career.
Mark your calendars on Tuesday, December 16th at the Union League Club to hear Matt Knott, President of Feeding America share his passion in his current role of feeding America’s hungry through a nationwide network of member food banks and engage our country in the fight to end hunger. 98 cents of every dollar donated goes directly into their programs helping people across the country access the food they need to live an active, healthy life. Matt will share how he was able to find his vocation by identifying the intersection between his skill set and the needs of his community.

Program starts promptly at 12:00pm.
Program concludes at 1:00pm.
The room will be open for questions and networking from 1:00-1:30pm.

About Matt Knott:
As President of Feeding America, Matt Knott focuses on providing more food for people in need by leading the efforts of the national office to support member food bank needs and shape national office priorities to meet those needs. In his role, Knott oversees food sourcing, logistics, network development, compliance and capability and information technology.
Knott joined Feeding America in June, 2008 as Vice President of Planning. He was promoted to Senior Vice President of Planning and Analysis in February, 2010, and named Chief Operating Officer in May, 2011. As COO, Knott led the development of the national strategic plan and worked with the CEO and Board of Directors to establish and evaluate organizational outcomes, assess performance against agreed upon goals and measure impact.
Prior to joining Feeding America, Knott spent 12 years at PepsiCo where he was most recently Vice President of Marketing for Gatorade. His career with PepsiCo also encompassed financial analysis and brand management roles, with responsibility for strategy formation, performance assessment, advertising and communications, new product development and innovation on other well-known brands including Tropicana, Quaker Cereals, and Propel Fitness Water.
Knott began his career with Arthur Andersen as a financial consultant, providing analysis and advice to public and private institutions in areas such as government contract consulting, litigation support, and turnaround consulting.
He earned his undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and holds a Master’s degree in Management from the Kellogg Graduate School at Northwestern University.
